Is Los Cabos safe?
Yes, Los Cabos is a very safe destination. It is always good to travel wisely and make sure you speak to your butler about any areas that should be given extra consideration.
Is there security for the villa?
Yes, our villas are in a gated communities with 24/7 security including CCTV cameras.
Is it safe to drink the water in the villa?
Yes, the villas have purified water systems.
Are there good hospitals in case of an emergency?
Yes, there is an excellent one in Cabo about 5 minutes from Del Mar.
Are tips included?
No, they are at the guests’ discretion. Average gratuity amount is 5% - 10% of the nightly rates.
How many hours does the butler work?
Typically 8 hours but will stay longer of required.
How do we select our menus?
We provide sample menus with your pre-arrival forms. You can elect from these or work with your butler and chef team to create custom menus. They are excellent and very flexible.
Is the pool heated? Is there an additional cost?
Yes, pools are heated. There is no additional cost to the guest.
Does the villa a have all of the appliances we might need?
Yes, these are privately owned multi-million-dollar residences and are equipped with the same appliances you would expect in a luxury home in the US
Will someone be there to greet us?
Yes, a member of our guest services team will greet you and familiarize you with the villa.
How do we pay for incidentals like groceries?
You will receive a bill outlining all expenses at the end of your stay which can be paid by CC, cash, or wire transfer.
How do we pay for our stay?
Our primary form of payment is wire transfer, however, we do accept credit card payments. All credit card payments are charged a 3.5% processing fee.
Can someone assist us with planning transportation and activities like golf tee times, spa reservations, restaurant reservations, whale watching, etc.?
Yes, we can handle all of these requests prior to arrival through our guest services team. While in residence, your butler can assist with changes, cancelations or additional requests.
Is the beach safe for swimming?
The Del Mar beach can be ok for swimming based on ocean conditions but is not advisable for young children. The beach at Palmilla Bay (Playa Palmilla) is a short golf cart ride away and is excellent for swimming.
Are there chairs and umbrellas at the beach?
Your butler and guest services staff are happy to set up beach equipment for you.
Are taxis available?
Yes the butler can call for you and there are plenty of taxis throughout the destination.
Can you organize private transportation to activities and restaurants?
Yes we can certainly make these arrangements as well prior to your stay or your butler can arrange any transportation
Is it possible to have someone accompany young people to town for a night out?
Yes we have people trained in this area and can make these arrangements
Is a deposit required to book a villa?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of contract execution in order to reserve your villa. The balance is due sixty (60) days prior to arrival.
What is your cancellation policy?
If not canceled in writing with sixty (60) days notice, the guest will pay the balance to the owner and all payments will be considered non-refundable. The acceptance of any advance monies by the owner shall not make them responsible or liable should the property become unavailable due to a natural disaster, or other events beyond the reasonable control of the the owner, and in this circumstance, the advance monies paid will be refunded to the guest.
